STAND Africa Ltd. is a for profit social enterprise, that promotes and supports activities and programs that provide education and opportunity for young Africans at all levels. We want to give young Africans an opportunity to seek profits with the intent of supporting the African community by increasing the number of African youth who have bright futures. We want to enable them to reach their full potential by helping to remove the barriers to education and opportunity at all levels by supporting education and opportunity in Africa, rather than having them seek education and opportunity abroad.
STAND Africa Ltd. works with Individuals, companies, and organizations that buy into the STAND Africa paradigm and will partner to effect a positive outcome for Africa and her children. As the worlds future is absolutely tied to the future of African youth, Stand Africa’s business goal is to reinvest its profits into activities that are in line with point number fifteen of what STAND Africa stands for. That is to support education, create opportunity and empowerment. Therefore, fifty percent of the profits garnered from the direct business practices of STAND Africa LTD. are committed to be used to empower local youth in various ways. In addition, fifty percent of the profits collected as a result of investing in external business endeavors are committed to the same.
Rather than measuring our commercial success by how high we can pile our money and rewarding ourselves for being selfish and greedy, we seek to measure our commercial success by how well our communities poorest and the least among us are faring.
